I am a Massachusetts and New York certified K-12 ESL teacher with a masters degree in applied linguistics and over 10 years of experience teaching, coaching and mentoring English language learners of all abilities and ages. I have taught at universities in Asia, adult education centers, public, private and charter schools and served as a writing coach for students online. I have helped students prepare for exams such as the TOEFL, GED and SAT, advised high schoolers on college essays and helped college students prepare applications for graduate school. I also have extensive experience working with content area teachers (Math, Biology, History, Calculus, Chemistry, Government etc.) to make their curriculum accessible and comprehensible to English language learners.
